SOUL DAN
(Soul)From the beginning of his long career, Dan Electro was singing the hits from the Soul groups of the 60's. Artists like Otis Redding, James Brown, and Ray Charles were the popular Soul acts touring in the Deep South were he was raised. His passion and delivery for this powerful style of music were apparent in his earlier days and earned him the nickname among his contemporaries, "Blue Eyed Soulman".
He learned his craft from these icons and continued his career working with his group in festivals like; City Stages in Birmingham, Alabama, Sarasota Blues Festival in Florida, and Black Mountain Festival in Asheville, N.C.
Dan Electro brings to the stage the intense energy and charismatic presence that he learned from watching some of the greatest musicians of Rhythm and Blues, and Soul.
